The Melissa Belote-Ripley Scholarship Fund was founded to provide college assistance for graduating seniors who have been committed to swimming throughout high school, regardless if they plan to swim in college.

The Melissa Belote Ripley Scholarship is a need-based scholarship. There is no cut-off for applicants. But when awarding the scholarship, we account for how it will affect each applicant's educational opportunities. We do not consider race, sex, religion, age, national origin or sexual orientation. We do not award scholarships to applicants who are not qualified and reserve the right not to award a scholarship in a given year.
